Process steps
1、 Put a metal membrane inside of the tundish and make sure to leave a working gap about 5-12cm between the permanent lining and the membrane;
2、 Manually flow the dry vibration material into the gap and vibrate the membrane to make it tight;
3、 Heat the membrane with heating appliance for about 1-2 hours(the temperature is 250℃-400℃);
4、 Once cooled, lift the ladle base;
5、 When bake the ladle, please first bake it with medium-low fire for 1 hour and then use big fire to bake it red and then cast steel;
Precautions:
1、 Make sure the ladle wall will not cool once bake the tundish red to avoid loose ladle wall structure and affect the use;
2、 The temperature for the molten steel can be raised appropriately for the first batch to avoid junction flow.

Major features
1、It is a mixed, loose-packed repairing mass, which consists of magnesite aggregate, fine powder, composite binder, sintering agent, heating agent, fluidizing agent. Product description

Applying process

Refining slag
Features
1、 The melting point is low and the melting speed is fast, so, it will shorten the refining time.
2、 The mobility is good. It has strong ability for sulfur removal and other foreign matters removal.
3、 The effect for submerged arc is good so as to reduce the burning erosion for the voltaic arc to the ladle lining. As a result, it can extend the service life for the ladle and reduce the electricity consumption for refining.

Method of application
1、 Aluminum-calcium pre-melting refining slag is applicable to aluminum killed steel and silicon-aluminum killed steel. The silicon-calcium pre-melting refining slag is suitable for silicon killed steel.
2、 The use level for refining slag is 5-8kgs/t. It will alter according to the type of steel that smelted by users, the content of carbon, oxygen and sulfur at the smelting final point for the converter or electric furnace.

The effect of heat generating agent
The heat generating agent for the converter makes use of the heat generating reaction of oxidization for silicon and aluminum to optimize the heating of molten bath. It is to raise the temperature of molten steel for the converter by using silicon as main material and aluminum as ingredient. The phosphorus content is very low, so, it will not add the phosphorus load. It also has some CaO and Al2O3, so, it will increase the silicon and raise the temperature of molten steel and it has limited influence on the alkalinity of slag. It can assist the slugging and basically can replace fluorite.
The method of application for heat generating agent
1、Add before mixing the molten iron or add together with scrape steel pipe and steel scraps together. It is recommended to add ≥5kg/t steel for better heat generating effect.
2、It is recommended to calculate the heat generating rate by raising temperature for 5-7℃for 1kg/t steel when using such agent for the converter.
3、Pay attention to the slag alkalinity and phosphoruscontent change of molten steel at the final point, if too much agent has been added, it is recommended to add appropriate quantity of lime to supplement the alkalinity.
4、The adding time and quantity can be optimized according to the production condition change of converter.
The iron and calcium pre-melting slag agent for converter

1、Normally control the molten iron and steel scraps
2、Blow 300-360 seconds in the converter, add iron and calcium pre-melting slag agent for 3-5kgs/ ton steel. It will effectively curb the dry of slag and realize the slugging in the entire process.
3、It is recommended to add other loose-packed material normally. With the optimization of slugging effect, gradually optimize the quantity of loose-packed material to be added.

The iron and calcium pre-melting slag agent contains over 40% iron. If the yield is 60%, add 1kg/ton steel of such agent will be equal to reduce 0.24kg/ton steel for steel material, 1kg/ton steel for fluorite, 0.3kg/ton steel for lime.
Assuming the price for steel scraps is 2600yuan/ton, fluorite is 2800yuan/ton, lime is 600yuan/ton, then, adding 1kg/ton steel of such agent, it will reduce the cost, which is (0.24*2.6)+(1*2.8)+(0.3*0.6)-1=2.6yuan/ton steel.
